Big Cat and Little Cat drank a bit too much milk last night, so most of their queries today have been: “Where’s the aspirin?” But in the spirit of the New Year, they’d like to know if you have any New Year’s Resolutions concerning your writing?
What are you planning to write in the New Year? How are you planning to stay on task?
Big Cat’s New Year’s Resolution is to stop eating paper. He’s already broken it. But hey. Baby-steps.
Little Cat’s resolution is to be a bit more cheerful. That’s a low bar for him.
Middle Cat’s resolution, same as last year, is to stay out of the spotlight and continue working on his novel about a cathouse in New York City. He thinks that’s what you call a house where cats live. Please nobody tell him.

Two cats, a large orange with orange stripes and a small grey with grey stripes, sit on a bed. The large orange burbles to the small grey: “Oh Boy, Little Cat! A New Day! What do you think we should do?” Little cat stares off into the distance with a misanthropic squint to his eyes as he says: “Kill a bird. Feel its life snuff out. Then Tummy-skritchins.”
